When: 1:30 - 4:30 pm on Saturday, October 31, 2026
Where: Esquimalt United Church, 500 Admirals Road (at Lyall Ave), Victoria, BC
Facilitated by: Linda Mulhill
We live in a time of major change and transition. Daily life is filled with competing demands and we often feel stressed and overwhelmed. It can be difficult to centre and remain focused. This workshop is designed to help us regain a sense of groundedness and wholeness.
We will learn and practice:
Centering Meditation
Contemplative Reading of Inspired Writings
Mindfulness Walking
These Meditation Practices will:
Allow us to rest in the Divine available to us in each moment,
Teach us to let go of regrets about the past and worries about the future
Help us to live out of the fulness of who we truly are, letting go of our attachment to the daily dramas of life.
The workshop includes an introduction to each practice, doing the practice and discussion about the practice itself. This is a safe, welcoming learning environment.
All are welcome, regardless of experience. Come if you are new to meditation. Come if you are searching. Come if you want to renew or refresh your practice.
FEE: Pay from the Heart as you are able: $0 - $25 (at the door)
“Come, come whoever you are
Wanderer, worshippeer, lover of leaving
Ours is no caravan of despair
Come, yet again, come.” - Rumi
